Introducing the Everpure CONSERV HE-3, High Efficiency Blended Reverse Osmosis System.

New for 2019, Pentair Everpure has just introduced the next generation in high efficiency commercial MRS systems, (Mineral Reduction Systems). Building upon the incredible success of the MRS600HEII system, the Industry standard in commercial blended reverse osmosis systems, the new CONSERV HE-3 brings with it a much smaller footprint combined with it’s own storage tank, instant expandability, (up to 880 gpm) and online monitoring. Perfect for chain Food and Beverage Retailers, Specialty Coffee and Institutional Food Service. Applications include Coffee Brewers, Espresso, Steamers, Combi Ovens and Ice.

Features include;

 Consistently High Water Quality

With precision TDS blending, the system creates customer-specific mineral concentration targets and automatically maintains these output TDS levels for optimum beverage flavor and aroma. This also prevents damage to foodservice equipment.

Remote Monitoring Capability

Exclusive remote monitoring technology provides real-time, internet-accessible information on output water quality, system status, maintenance requirements, and operating analytics. This proactive approach helps improve response to water changes or equipment downtime.

Easily Expandable Capacity

Standard Conserv HE-3 System capacity is 440 gallons per day. For larger and growing operations, increasing output to 880 gallons per day is “plug and play” simple by adding a second RO membrane and post-filter. This is a design feature no competitor can match.

Significant Water Savings

High recovery RO membrane technology reduces water waste up to 80% versus conventional RO, resulting in lower sewer charges and a smaller environmental footprint. System settings can be adjusted based on local incoming water quality to maximize output.

Higher Cartridge Capacity

Filter cartridge and RO membranes have a higher grade cartridge capacity that can handle a broad range of incoming water quality.

 Robust Third-Party Certifications

This system is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for the reduction of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS); and NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of Chlorine Taste & Odor, and Cyst.

Bacteriostatic Pretreatment

The system’s cartridges are embedded with a proprietary bacteriostatic technology that effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria on the filter media that can decrease product life.

    • The raw water may contain particulates and the use of a pre-filter is recommended
  • Contact EVERPURE Technical Service for pre-treatment recommendations

Installation Tips

  • Choose a mounting location suitable to support the full weight of the system when operating
  • Deliming of equipment prior to application is recommended
  • Never use saddle valve for connection
  • Use 3/8” (10 mm) water line
  • The water inlet must supply a minimum of 0.7 gpm (2.7 lpm)
  • Install vertically with cartridge hanging down and allow 2 inches above and below unit for cover removal and service access

A reverse osmosis system is the the number one thing you can do to easily ward off Cancer!

Cancer experts have identified 20 chemicals that we may be exposed to daily that are suspected of causing cancer in our every day lives. When the President’s Cancer Panel released its report stating that environmental chemicals were a “grossly underestimated” cause of cancers in the U.S., the American Cancer Society (ACS) responded by saying the report put too much weight on environmental causes and not enough emphasis on known cancer risks, such as tobacco smoke and obesity. Hoping to bring a little clarity to the field of chemicals that may trigger cancers, the ACS, three government agencies, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer published a list of 20 chemicals so far not officially linked to cancer but still in widespread use that have the strongest evidence against them that they may cause cancer. After reviewing the existing research, 20 chemicals showed enough evidence of causing cancer in laboratory tests and in animals that there was a strong likelihood that they could also cause cancer in humans. Most of the chemicals on their list are industrial chemicals, for instance, carbon black (a substance used to make synthetic rubber) and welding fumes, but others are much more common and can crop up in everything from our sunscreen to our water supply:

  • Atrazine: a widely used pesticide for corn that’s so hazardous it’s banned in Switzerland, the home country of the company that manufactures it.
  • Chloroform: a water-disinfection by-product that can wind up in your tap water.
  • Diesel engine exhaust.
  • Diethylheyxl ptthalate (DEHP): a chemical used to keep vinyl plastics, like your shower curtain, soft and pliable
  • Formaldehyde: already a known human carcinogen that causes pharynx and nasal cancers, this chemical (used in hundreds of building products) was added to the list because of suspicions that it might cause leukemia.
  • Lead and lead compounds.
  • Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs): banned since the 1980s, these industrial flame retardants still linger in our food supply.
  • Styrene: used to make polystyrene foam coffee cups and takeout containers.
  • Perchloroethylene: the commonly used dry-cleaning solvent.
  • Titanium dioxide: used as a colorant in paints but also as an ingredient in sunscreens; the researchers were particularly concerned about nanoparticles of titanium dioxide, which are already suspected of causing brain damage.

Reverse osmosis drinking water systems are the number one recommendation for removing a wide variety of these contaminants including atrazine, chloroform, Lead, Fluoride and other industrial chemicals that the ACS included on its list, such as trichloroethylene (a solvent used in auto body shops and mechanics’ garages) and formaldehyde. Filter Pure Systems recommends and stocks several different brands of reverse osmosis systems including Hydrotech’s latest RO system featuring quick-change cartridges, which can be customized for changing water conditions. These proprietary cartridges also simplify the regular replacement as required – typically on an annual basis. The QCRO delivers bottle water quality without the hassle or cost.
