Re: Pentair Commercial Foodservice Energy Transportation Surcharge
Dear Valued Pentair Foodservice Partner,
The global manufacturing environment for Pentair and many industrial corporations remains extraordinarily challenging. Ongoing inflationary pressures, supply scarcities, labor constraints, escalating energy and transportation costs continue to negatively impact your business and ours, as well as the economy at large.
We have minimized the impacts of rising economic pressures and remain committed to providing you, our valued customer, with exceptional products, services, and support at competitive prices. As a result, we are implementing a 7% freight/energy/transportation surcharge that will be effective April 8, 2022.
This surcharge will appear as a single line item at the bottom of every invoice. Pricing for each part number will not be changing; rather, the surcharge will be 7% of the total invoice.
Given the extreme volatility of the energy market, we will continue monitoring this surcharge and communicate any subsequent changes based on the cost trends associated with manufacturing and servicing our products.
We understand our businesses are facing unprecedented economic challenges. You are an important part of our promise to make the most of life’s essential resources. Thank you for your continued support of Pentair brands and products amid these turbulent economic times. Your business remains vitally important to us!
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Customer Service or your sales manager at any time.
