The MH2’s unique filter utilizes a refined activated carbon to eliminate chlorine taste and odor and other offensive contaminants. It also saves energy by reducing scale build-up on the heating element. A proportioned scale inhibitor feed inside each filter dramatically prevents limescale from forming inside the brewer. New and improved Micro-Pure II media with AgION™ antimicrobial protection inhibits any potential bacterial growth inside the filter. With precoat submicron technology, dirt and particles as small as ½ micron in size are reduced, eliminating health contaminants such as asbestos fibers, Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick and clean, and no tools necessary. Internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination.
